ETHOS DIA

Media Consulting Company Powers Through Texas Power Outage

Our small and efficient operation in Houston stayed open because of preparations we made earlier in the year.

The 2021 winter storm that crippled Texas and sent millions without power and / or water for days and weeks didn't stop ETHOS DIA from delivering services to clients or stopping operations.

"Our small and efficient operation in Houston stayed open because of preparations we made earlier in the year," said Kenneth Morico, owner.

ETHOS DIA was ready with backup power and water, though the office only lost water for several days. In addition, ETHOS DIA has another co-working office in the area as a backup location.

"Our office became a safe-haven for a friend of the company, allowing him to work and deliver services during this difficult time," Morico said.

Despite the failings of ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) and the Texas power grid for many Texans, Texas remains a great place to do business.

"Houston always finds a way to spring back from major natural disasters," Morico said. "Even those ill-prepared are able to come back to business relatively quickly due to the importance Texas places on business continuity."

Due to the great client services ETHOS DIA provides, its account managers form deep relationships with clients. "We are blessed to have understanding clients that check in on our staff during times of crisis."

ETHOS DIA is a Houston-based media consulting company that services clients in the Denver, Los Angeles, and New York metro areas.
